If something spills on the stove, there is a space where water can fall through and it makes the screen use useless thus making the oven not work

You can't wipe the top off when you're cooking because if you do you turn the oven and everything off , so what's up with that!

Hi Doug,
It makes sense that the cooktop reacts the way it does, since the glass control surface works much like a phone or tablet. A light wipe is fine while you cook, and the range is designed for that, yet it can interrupt your flow if the sensors pick up accidental touches. Keeping clear of the heated zones and the control area helps the surface stay predictable so you can clean as you go without the stove shutting off.
This range/oven is very frustrating at times. If you like to clean as you cook or are on the short side, it turns off at the slightest graze. Your dinner will just stop cooking, you don't keep an eye on it.

Hello there,
Sharing your honest review of your range is important. Your opinion matters to us. Rest assured that we are working to improve our products and services with the help of your review.
Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options:
Faulty Design.Control panel issues. Samsung replaced twice during intial warranty. We had purchased Samsung care + which is a big scam. extended warranty is with Assurant not with Samsung. Technician from assurant wont debug the issue and simply step by closing the ticket. Touch screen is single point of failure - you can’t use stove if touch is not working. Stay away from this product.

I’m 86, living alone, and Samsung left me stranded

I’m 86 years old, a widow of a disabled veteran, living on my own. I bought a Samsung 60-inch 5-burner electric stove from Lowe’s in Cypress, TX, and in July the oven failed. Samsung sent a technician who falsely claimed the motherboard was ruined by roaches—completely untrue. He didn’t fix it, canceled my service ticket, and Samsung refused further help unless I hired an exterminator I didn’t need.
I had to pay my own technician, who confirmed the stove needs a new motherboard or replacement. This has been exhausting and unfair. Samsung products and customer service have been nothing but a nightmare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the induction cook top. It is so much easier to clean the top, because spills don't get hot and stick to it. Also cooking and boiling things happen so much quicker.
I received compensation for this review, but the review is my own
This range was a replacement for a previous induction range from another brand that I had so I was familiar with the cook style. This model features a much more modern design that relies upon touch screen controls that do take some time to get used to, but are relatively intuitive and easy after some time with it. The controls allow you to toggle between the oven and top burners easily, and I like the individual timers for each cooking location.
