The grill heats up quickly, does not have any hot spots and is well built. Only issue is the sides and back walls do not keep the cabinet under the grill enclosed where you can see the wiring and fuel supply line, as well as allowing an entrance for animals. It wouldn’t have taken much to have the design completely enclosed.
The four-burner E series grill is a stout, well designed and constructed grill with plenty of grill area, It allows us to cook ribs, chicken, and such BBQ style, at temperatures as low as 220 degrees by lighting only one burner on the end and placing the meat on the far side of the lower grill and the upper grill. It works great as a conventional grill, too. We find that no searing burner is necessary because each burner produces enough heat that you can sear steaks over any single burner. Assembly was easy using the unique instructions, which consist of drawings with no text. It took us 2 hours, not bad. We had none of the problems with screws and bolts mentioned in another review. The grease collector is an especially useful feature. Our only complaint is that we are not able to get the second and subsequent burners to light after starting the first, left-hand burner, without applying a flame. The same was true of our earlier three-burner Genesis. But the grill lasted many, many years without rusting and only minor part replacements. So we were glad to see the stainless steel match holder that is provided. We have had a number of grills over the last 40 years, and this grill is the best of them all.
Loving the grill, one issue with the griddle, what to do with it when I want to use the grates ? I wish the below storage had an option to house this griddle when not in use. This thing heads fast and hot. Used it as a smaller one burner on low perfect 225. Works well in the wind, can't say that for any other flat top grills.
Very user friendly & well constructed. This is my 2nd Weber grill & the last one lasted 20 years. We went with the natural gas grill & absolutely love it.
Pros: Seems well made. Heats up quickly and evenly. Side tables are nice size. Cons: Not happy they control selling price, which is higher than it should be. Side tables are nice size , but make the grill inconveniently too wide. Would be nice to have at least one side table be retractable. Not sure how long the igniter wires will last as they are exposed on one side below the side table and accessible to squirrels, etc.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Your satisfaction is very important to us. So excited to hear you are enjoying your new grill!
We will be sure to share your comments regarding the side table with our team for consideration.
Regarding the igniter wires, they are made to withstand the elements and should not be affected by the weather.
Our Care team will reach out to follow up. Please look for an outreach from us soon. Thank you for being a Weber fan!
The grill is well made and has excellent temperature control. It's only shortcoming is that none of the Weber accessories fit it! I might have chosen a different model if I'd been informed of that in the store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really good basic unit if you want no-frills but expanded grill surface. Build quality is good not great. It grills evenly and can get really hot. Good value and recommended.
Great grill, but the quality is not what it used to be. The build quality is nowhere near the that of my 15 year old Weber it replaced. Time will tell if I get a similar lifespan out of this one.
