I had an issue with the lighting system almost right away, but after some obtuse back and forth emails with Weber, they provided a replacement unit promptly. Now that part is working fine. I've used the grill a dozen times or so to date. Cooking surface does seem to provide even heat. Three areas of disappointment: 1. The manual igniting method is wanting. It would be very difficult if you were in the midst of cooking and needed to light a burner. 2. The flame tamers tent closely over each burner, with the in-between burner spaces having their own tents. These in-between ones don't have enough heat to vaporize the dripping grease, so a great deal more falls through to the grease capturing system. It would be more effective if the tamers over the burners were wide enough to but up against the next burner tamer. 2. Related to #1. The main grease capturing slope is effective, but as stated above catches a lot of stuff that should have been vaporized above. Also, the actual removable drip pan is ridiculously small. On the plus side, the entire slope slides to the front for easy maintenance.
I had another manufacturer's grill for twelve years (with lots of replacement burners and other parts), and would have bought it again, but couldn't find a dealer willing to assemble one from the comic book the other manufacturer called instructions. I was able to purchase the Weber assembled from Lowes. Time will tell if I get the same level of satisfaction.

The grill was easy to put together and direction were very good. Burned grill in for 20 minutes prior to use. She gets HOT and shows the capability of this grill. Have used the grill several times and it is fantastic, even heat, and so much room. cooked at least 12 hamburgers at a time with hot dogs on rack. Easy to clean up both inside and outside. Used the Weber grill cleaning spray and just WOW. My old Weber Genesis was 26 years old and still doing well but it was time and what a great replacement.

This Weber grill has great feature for lighting grill controls and grates are easily cleaned. I’m disappointed that it does not have the same feature that was on my previous Weber grill that tracked how full my gas tank was. This is my second Weber grill. My first one lasted me 12 years. Weber makes their grills to last. Unlike other brands that fall apart after 2-3 years

Bought this E-415 grill to replace a lesser brand that didn't even last five years. We've only used it a couple times so far, but it has all the long-lasting hallmarks of our prior Weber grills. It's solid, heats up quickly and is relatively even across the burners and front to back.
I like this model because it doesn't have a side burner which we have never used with prior grills. Prefer having more counter surface to hold platters and such.
