After assembling the grill, we realized that the natural gas feed supplied with the grill was much larger than the feed line we used with our old grill. So, we had to build an adapter to fit the larger feed line.
Our next issue was the actual gas feed.
The flames from the Weber burners were really low. This increased the warm up time and reduced the overall cooking temperature.
After calling a plumber to check the line which we thought was not feeding enough gas, he determined the line was feeding too much, which was shutting down the regulator on the grill.
He installed a regulator on the feed line to reduce the flow of gas reaching the grill, and it now works great.
In fact it cooks much faster than the five year old grill we replaced.
After having the same Weber for 23 years, support was great in helping me with a new purchase! So far the new Genesis is great! Easy to put together and easy to use.

We’ve owned Weber grills for over 25 years. I just replaced a 300 series Weber grill with a 400 series. The 300 series I gave to my neighbor because it still had plenty of life left to it. Any issues I’ve had with the grill over the years I would reach out to Weber who would immediately respond. It’s had a terrific warranty and Weber stood behind its product. I registered my new 400 series grill and look forward to many more years grilling with the new one.
Fairly new & I haven't used it a ton, but very happy with it overall. Four burners give plenty of heat & even cooking.
One concern/complaint - the metal sides and back don't go all the way up to the shelves and the grill itself. There is a significant opening or gap. I left it uncovered (bc it was too hot) and we had a blowing rain and the inside compartment got pretty wet. There's also a bit of a gap in the front under the knobs, but that's a lot less open.
