I have owned Weber grills for 20 plus years now and my last one was a S-310 in 2013. The newer Weber grills like everything else are made a little cheaper and the warranty is less time but saying that, Weber has always stood behind their products and I'm sure this S-315 will be no exception. I put all my grills together myself and I can say it is not the quality of my last grill but it's pretty good. The grill cooks evenly and boy does it get HOT with the updated burners. The sides are wide open so you can see everything inside like the gas line and wiring and the brace inside of the cabinet gets in the way for extra storage. The wheels are plastic and have nice locks and the hood has rubber seals for clouser.

Our 30 year old Weber Genesis Gold natural gas grill was blown off our deck during a huge windstorm. It was time for a new one. I selected a Genesis Classic E-315 and love it! It heats evenly and the porcelain grates leave wonderful char marks. And the flavorizer bars give great taste without flare ups. Best Mother’s Day gift for myself.
I bought this to replace a Weber Silver B that we used for the past 20+ years. I looked at other brands, but I couldn't seriously consider them because they felt flimsy, especially when opening and closing the lid. It is a bit disconcerting that some manufacturers pack their grills with seldom-used features, but don't put much effort into making a product that is durable. It is apparent that Weber has continued to improve their grills - I liked my old Weber grill, but this one is even better.
Our last grill was this same (or nearly the same) Weber model which we had for 16 years. We live in the South and with our natural gas tap on the patio, we grill year round. My husband used it until it literally fell apart! Over the years we had replaced the grills and the thermostat. One of the main reasons we purchased another Weber is because of the option to buy replacement parts. Considering how much usage we get out of a grill, we felt that the cost was very reasonable. It is the perfect size-not too big but has room to put a tray and utensils. We anticipate getting many years of use.
After reading about the cleaning and care, I tried the grill for the first time and I love it. We have owned several grills over the years and by far this is the best.
Old BBQ crashed so we bought this Weber BBQ. So glad we did - head and shoulders above any one that we’ve owned in the past. Large cooking surface, burners are very reactive to knob settings - just an all-around great experience - very happy!
Not really happy with the performance / cooking capabilities of this grill. I would expect for spending $1000 for a grill it would get hot enough to sear / cook, however this grill misses the mark. I found it unreasonable to spend another $350 to get this grill with a sear station. At that point I would have purchased a different brand of grill with more size / features for that money. Now I'm stuck with it with no option for returning it. Not what I was expecting.
