Great product. Well built, way better than the competitors. Cools evenly, gets up to temp quick and holds the temp needed easily. Would highly recommend.
Very happy with my new Genesis S-315 natural gas grill. It lights incredibly easily, burns evenly, and controls level of heat quite well with great visual thermometer.
This grill is great quality and easy to assemble. I'm impressed with the cooking on the grill. I've always had lesser expensive grills, and finally splurged on this purchase. The even heating, the ability to hold temperature better and less flaming made me realize what I had been missing the last 25 years of my life.
First 2 burners work, until the other 2 are lit. Then all 4 burners diminish to almost nothing. It takes 30 min to reach 400 and doesn’t heat up past 425 ever. Weber has replaced the regulator, which did not resolve the issue. They’ve now ordered a manifold but told us that’s likely not the issue either. They told us we needed 7” water column pressure at the grill, then the regulator will drop pressure to 4.5-4.7”. The gas company came out and told us that our area doesn’t even get 7” wcp, it’s supposed to be 6”. They gave us 7” anyway to humor Weber, and it didn’t make a difference. Then the technician they have is contracted out of an Ace Hardware about 40 min away, and he continually said he couldn’t come out to make repairs because we were too far for him. The most recent part he received on March 25th and as of today, March 31st, still hadn’t scheduled it. He finally called today after we left a message yesterday, and said he couldn’t come until April 6th because we are too far. When my husband called back, he said he hadn’t come yet because it was too chilly out last week, we are too far, and he works 40 hours a week. We offered to come pick up the part, he told us absolutely not. We called Weber, and they told us we were allowed to pick up the part, and the tech at Ace had to give it to us. We finally drove 40 min to the Ace Hardware to pick up the part. We are about a month into this saga, having spent money on a plumber at Weber’s insistence, hours with the gas company, hours on the phone and email with Weber, and still no functioning grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
