Good basics but a couple quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The operation is quiet and effective, and that's what's most important.
The internal racks have some oddities. The outer glass and cup areas are not symmetrical - the "skinny side" will not fit some mugs. The silverware basket is small and the top grid is too narrow for some silverware designs.

Be aware that the necessary hardware to connect water and direct wiring is not included.

Cleans well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm old school- was always rinsing my dishes first. Decided to finally listen to manufactures directions, and no longer do so. Pleasantly surprised to find dishes emasculate, even though I only run the machine every other day. I don't wash a lot of plastic- but what I do wash comes out dry. Have had the machine for 1 month so I can't attest to it's longevity- but so far I'm very pleased!

Having read Bosch's Terms and Conditions to write a review, I am a little worried how Bosch will review this.
Household: 2 senior citizens. We do not use it every day so we do rinse our dishes.
Pieces on top tray rack do not get clean cutlery. Need standard cutlery trays set on bottom rack for better outcome. This model does not show that dw is done. (our choice, also dials visible on front not top, of door) We assumed that when no lights were on, it is done.
No. Bosch's drying feature requires leaving door closed for ? time. We haven't figured out how long yet. Recommendation: If you don't use a dishwasher on a daily basis, find a brand other than Bosch. Thank you.

The app alerts me when the cycle is finished. The washer cleans well and the top shelf allows for a full bottom rack!! Buy and you will not be disappointed

Model Number Issue

The registration process does not accept the exact model number as follows: SHE53CE5N/27. The form will not allow the inclusion of the /27 which notes the 27 inch version of the dishwasher. The 4 star review reflects the fact that we have not yet run the machine through a complete wash and dry cycle.
