Pretty good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is quiet and seems to clean most items well. Some really stuck on stuff has not come off. I'm not a huge fan of the layout of the bottom rack or the stemware racks, but overall works well for me.

Noisy and complucated

We have had Bosch dishwashers before and were pleased with how quiet they were. This one is rated 46db but it is waaaay noisier than that, much noisier than our previous Bosch or KitchenAid units. This unit is complicated by requiring WiFi access, online OS updates, and a phone or tablet app just to be able to run a program and wash dishes. We will live with it for now, but next go-around we'll be looking for something quieter and less technology dependent. Classic German over engineering...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the job done

Very quiet. Like the top/3rd rack. Only problem is that all of our taller travel coffee cups have to go on the bottom and don't fit very well on that rack. If I adjust the height of the upper rack so they will fit, then the dinner plates are too tall on the bottom rack. Overall, though, a good machine.

Designed by engineers not for users

Way too complicated. I just want to turn on the dishwasher and use it and set the cycles manually. Instead, you have to go through 17 steps on an app to make your dishwasher work. For example, you can't simply set the dishwasher to rinse your dishes. You have to go into the app. This may have given the engineers a lot of fun, but it is infuriating.
