Excellent wash and spacious but…

Sooooo quiet!

This is our first Bosch dishwasher. It's everything we expected. Love the top tray for silverware. Cleans and dries thoroughly. And, as mentioned above, extremely quiet. Wish it had a printed manual, but relatively easy to figure out and use. The lower rack has one group of double tines that look as though they should move or drop down, but don't. Otherwise, nicely set up and holds a variety of dishes, pans, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Bosch dishwasher nearly 3 months now, and I use it almost daily. I've been very pleased overall. It cleans everything very well, has the Energy Star rating, and is so quiet. I like that there's a fast (Speed-60) setting available, in addition to the longer cycles. It's also helpful to be able to change the racks a bit to fit different-sized items. I'm glad I chose this model, as it's a high quality and fits my needs.

Stupid & unnecessary use of technology!!!

This is a very frustrating appliance. You must use a phone application to run this thing. You cannot just install it and use the front buttons to run the dishwasher. What few instructions that Bosch does supply with the machine are fairly useless "generic programming instructions". If you buy this dishwasher, save yourself a lot of annoyance and call customer service and have them walk you through the wifi connection, updating the software, and the set-up programming so you can finally get around to washing the dishes.
BOSCH: Introduce your engineers & product managers to K.I.S.S (Keep it simple stupid). I don't know of any reason I need to be able to play with my dishwasher via my phone!!
BOSCH: A suggestion on the placement of the model & s/n sticker: Put the sticker on the top inside edge of the door not on the right side. I have cabinets on the right side of the dishwasher which make seeing the sticker impossible. To get the model / sn for the customer service call I had to remove two drawers and take a timed picture of the sticker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch dishwasher

This is so quiet that we need to check if it's running. It gets our dishes clean on the one hour setting so we Don't need to run the "Normal" setting. The utensil basket is small but we can put more in the top rack so it hasn't been a problem. We have only had it for about a month so we can't address the reliability long term.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet, reliable, and hard working. Does an excellent job cleaning dishes, and I love the third rack, where you can lay out the silverware. They get a better cleaning that way, too. Doesn't use a heating element for drying, which I like because it means you can wash something marked "top shelf only" wherever you want. Hooking it up to wi-fi is a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it, although I'm still getting used to the idea of my dishwasher texting me to let me know it needs more rinse aid. :)
