Worth its...weight...in gold.

After I...weighed...my options, I ultimately landed upon this scale for my beans. And while I wouldn't say I HAD to have it, I am SO glad that I did. Instant readings. Seems accurate? Close enough. I will say, it is an absolute joy to use every day. And it makes me happy. So, well worth it in my opinion. (No apologies given for the stupid scale jokes.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Way too expensive if you are using an Aiden. It also has a stain on the scale even though they replaced for me because of the stick that they use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best scale out there really. Very user-friendly. Beautiful high-resolution display.
Brew assist mode is fantastic and easy to use. Timer starts automatically when water hits the grinds. Very high quality. Solid and beautifully crafted. Aesthetically pleasing.
Very precise and responsive. Best coffee scale available. (Better than those at higher price points even. Considerably better.) The design is great. User interface is fantastic.

I love it, my only problem with it is absolutely my doing. Not changing to timing when I have my brew setup in “brew assist” mode. Just my own brain fart. It works beautifully!

Too expensive

I’ll admit I bought this scale almost purely for aesthetics. I was hoping the brew assist feature would be a nice bonus, but I’ve given up on that and simply use it as a scale+timer. For that, there are quite a few cheaper options that are just as good.
Brew assist is hard to use because I weigh my beans before grinding. The scale the. Sits unused while I grind, but in order to set the coffee weight, I have to weigh them again after grinding. It’s counterintuitive, and if I do things in the wrong order, then I have to switch modes anyways. Not really much help.
I also think the buttons are counterintuitive. The dial is unnecessary, and long pressing to turn off is inconsistent with the fellow kettle, that just requires a single press to turn off.
It looks nice, but I expect more for such a high price.
