My Perfect Scale!

The Tally Pro is exactly the scale I've been looking for. The "weight" and "timer" functions are just fine, but the real selling point is the "brew assist" mode. It's incredibly helpful to dial in your coffee:water ratio and weigh your freshly ground coffee without having to hit a specific weight (especially first thing in the morning!). The flexibility is just fantastic. I use the scale every morning and just love it. It may be on the pricey side but it's very well made and, as the old saying goes, "price is what you pay, value is what you get." For me, the price has been absolutely worth it.

Small but Mighty

This scale performs exceptionally well. I've used the brew assist feature most often and am able to make consistently good coffee as a result. I've also used it to measure ingredients for baking bread and for portioning all sorts of foodstuffs. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Wonderful splurge!

My regular kitchen scale was giving me problems so I decided to buy a new one and decided to spend the money on the Tally and am very glad I did! The only complaint I have is I didn't like the video showing how to use the Brew assist, it actually caused me more problems than it helped. I did eventually learn that really only takes two button presses and the brew assist starts as soon as you start pouring.
I have made pour overs in the past but never ended up with a cup of coffee as good as I got while using the Telly. While using it I discovered I was not grinding my coffee fine enough for a pour over. I had used a scale in timer in the past but obviously didn't do it well which is very easy with the .
I also cook while adding ingredients to my mixing bowl one after another tareing between additions and it was easy to do that by switching the scale to weight mode in my mixing bowl fits on it without a problem!

Great Gift, Precise Tool

Bought this for my husband for Father's Day this year. He is a week + one day into using it and is absolutely obsessed. The precision of the scale itself, plus the ability to do an amount:water ratio makes his morning coffee making more of a meditation than it already is. I know the scale is pricey, but if you are or know someone who is engrossed in making the best possible cup of coffee, I would recommend it.

I’m happy with the ease of operation and great visibility of display. I just ordered a new Fellow Tally scale because the one I bought a year ago stopped working . So I question the reliability

Outstanding Scale

I recently purchased this scale with some other Fellow products, and I absolutely love it. It is nice and compact, but it is no joke at measuring out coffee grounds and water. This scale has a resolution of 0.1 g, and it also has an accuracy of better than 0.1 g (I tested it against a very precise scale I have for measuring hops for beer brewing). You can conveniently switch between time, weight, and brewing assist modes. I didn't think I would care about the brewing assist mode because I can pretty easily calculate in my head how much water I need for the grounds I am brewing at any given ratio. But much to my surprise, I really enjoy using the brewing assist mode. You just rotate the dial if you want to change your water ratio, or it defaults to the last place you left it. Just tare your container, put in your grounds, press the timer button, start adding your water for the bloom and main pour, and it counts up your water weight as you build up to your total pour. And, just in case you are not paying attention (it happens), the center display turns to a white background when you reach your target water weight. The scale build quality is great, and it has a sleek design that fits in nicely with all the other Fellow products.
