It's fast

It's pretty and fast. It shows the weight much quicker than my last scales, giving instantaneous feedback while pouring. The display is easy to read and it looks great on my coffee bar.

Great Gift, Precise Tool

Bought this for my husband for Father's Day this year. He is a week + one day into using it and is absolutely obsessed. The precision of the scale itself, plus the ability to do an amount:water ratio makes his morning coffee making more of a meditation than it already is. I know the scale is pricey, but if you are or know someone who is engrossed in making the best possible cup of coffee, I would recommend it.

A Great Scale for a Coffee Nerd Newbie

I have been waiting (pun intended?) for a coffee scale since my other kitchen scale has been broken for far too long. This well exceeded my expectations with not just simple weighing capabilities but utilizing both a coffee:water ratio and a timer. This is my first foray into coffee nerd-dom so as a n00b, you can’t go wrong!

Wonderful splurge!

My regular kitchen scale was giving me problems so I decided to buy a new one and decided to spend the money on the Tally and am very glad I did! The only complaint I have is I didn't like the video showing how to use the Brew assist, it actually caused me more problems than it helped. I did eventually learn that really only takes two button presses and the brew assist starts as soon as you start pouring.
I have made pour overs in the past but never ended up with a cup of coffee as good as I got while using the Telly. While using it I discovered I was not grinding my coffee fine enough for a pour over. I had used a scale in timer in the past but obviously didn't do it well which is very easy with the .
I also cook while adding ingredients to my mixing bowl one after another tareing between additions and it was easy to do that by switching the scale to weight mode in my mixing bowl fits on it without a problem!
