Purchased Tally Pro after using the Hario scale for several years for the Brew Assist feature. The scales is well built, easy to use. No longer use the Hario.
If you're like me, and don't want to mux around with math when making that first cup in the morning (or at all), then this scale is fantastic; as it takes all the arithmetic out of assessing your water to coffee ratios. The only disappointment I have is with the timer. It's fine, but I wish it had a countdown feature, that concluded in a subtle beep, for when I swap out the V60 for my full-immersion Clever. It just really annoys me to pull out yet another timer to do this. Otherwise, it's a small criticism for an otherwise fantastic device.
As someone who is new to pour over brewing this precision scale has been so helpful! The automatic timer and weight on the brew assist make this really easy to use.
This is a great scale. The brew assist feature is super helpful and intuitive. I have, however, got stuck a few times as my weights were lost after weighing my beans then placing my brewer on the scale, adding more weight, then pouring my grounds into the brewer before zeroing the scale to account for the brewer’s weight and being lost on my brew ratio. This would otherwise not be an issue but the brew assist feature has made my usual exact measurements entirely haphazard. I’m the problem here…I realize it. I’ll have to rework my work flow.
I had a much less expensive scale that worked fine for me, but gave it to my sister to help her on her expanded coffee journey and purchased the Fellow scale only because I love quality. I don't need any of the features except weight in grams, but love the beauty and overall quality of the product. Plus it matches my Fellow Ode 2 grinder and will match my pre-ordered Aiden brewer (which I wish I could receive sooner than September).

As someone who has been on that kitchen scale game for years with a much less expensive rechargeable body, I was hoping to get something much more convenient for making pour overs and other high precision kitchen tasks. I would say this scale performs excellently.
There are 2 key things that really justify the product for me: automatic ratios and timing. Makes playing around and dialing in those variables fun instead of annoying like using my other scale with my phone as a calculator/timer.
One other thing I’ll note to help any prospective buyers is how I incorporate this into my workflow which took some getting used to…
1) Start boiling kettle of water 2) Measure beans on scale with ratio set 3) Grind beans - while water still boils 4) Place French press or Pour over carafe/filter on scale and tare the scale 5) Add funnel and add the ground beans 6) Remove funnel and check weight of beans /water seems right 7) Begin pouring in the water according to recipe
