The Microwave of the Future

From a design perspective, the microwave is very good-looking - it even made our kitchen look a bit older compared to the clean lines and deep dark colors. The microwave does what all microwaves do - it heats up very quickly and has a lot of interior space for big dishes. This model doesn’t come with a built-in rack, but we never used that in our old microwave so no loss there. The microwave connects through WiFi to the Smarthings app and lets you control pretty much everything on it right from your phone - how cool! We also have a smart Samsung stove so the two “talk” to each other and it turns the fans and lights on and off automatically. I also found that the sensor cook feature worked very well - usually, microwaves don’t really get this feature right, but so far it hasn’t over or undercooked any of my meals. Overall this microwave is definitely from the “future” and you can’t go wrong with it!

I find the buttons to be a little hard to select some times. It seems to prefer lighter touches more than a solid push. I find that some of the sensor features do require more time such as the baked potato option. I do like how easy it is to operate and how nice it looks in my kitchen. I do like the SmartThings app as I have all my Samsung appliances on it and can easily monitor them and operate them. It updates the time and features with ease. The capacity of this microwave is very large and holds everything I would want to heat up.

Super Sleek Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very professional and clean microwave. Has a very nice bright white LED light on the bottom to light up your stove top on a cloud day. The inside is the classic blue color that matches the new Samsung wall ovens, which is a major change from the standard white interior most of us are used to from a microwave. The all glass front makes your kitchen look more custom and get lots of questions from your friends and family. The built-in Wi-Fi allows for clock synchronization so no more having to reset the clock when the power glitches. Just an overall solid microwave. So far, the food has been cooking great, not over cooked, not under cooked. Inside the door, there is a nice cheat sheet that explains how long to cook certain types of foods for the perfect temperature and taste. And the Samsung Mobile App, well, it messages you when the food has been cooked completely which is a great feature when you're busy and running around the house. Well done Samsung.

Great little Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this microwave! It cooks well, it looks nice and clean. I love the lights underneath. The blue inside of the cooking area is a nice upgrade and easier to keep clean and free of stains. I do feel the buttons are a bit hard to push and not as responding as I would like them to be. The app is nice touch, it notifies me on my phone when the food is ready. The microwave door opens fully and has a large opening for cooking larger items. The sensor cook is a nice touch and helps keep from over cooking the food, especially for the kids in our home. I love being able to utilize Alexia to turn on ventilation and lighting on the microwave. That is a super cool feature if I am coming into a dark kitchen late at night. Other than that it is a great fixture for my kitchen. It was needed and used on a daily basis. Essential item for my household!
