Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous microwave was over 12 years old so it was time to get a new one. Wow, this microwave was a huge upgrade! First off, it's huge inside! It takes up the same space as my previous microwave, but there is so much more space inside. On the outside, the first thing you see is that the clock and all the buttons are along the bottom edge, and not along the side or on the top. This makes it easy for shorter people to run the microwave. The buttons are all very self explanatory and easy to find what you're looking for. There are different recipes and times to use inside the door when you open it, so you can see a quick reference guide anytime you need it. The best part? You know how ALL microwaves and a popcorn button and it NEVER works? It either pops half the bag or more often, burns the popcorn. Not this one! I was skeptical at first, so I tried it multiple times with the same results every time. The popcorn came out perfectly! All popped and never burned! Somehow it senses the steam coming out of the bag and knows when to stop. The clock syncs to your phone/app so you never have to worry about changing it when the power goes out or for daylight savings time. The lights under that shine on the stove are very bright and really helps when you're cooking on the stove. Don't wait 12 years like I did to upgrade your microwave!

A Sleek, Modern Microwave

The sleek matte black steel finish and hidden handle are a massive upgrade in looks and functionality (no more broken handles!).
But the beauty goes beyond skin deep. SmartThings integration is a game-changer for our family. Phone notifications for finished food mean no more wondering if my popcorn is on fire! Plus, when paired with a Samsung range, the vent and light will automatically turn on -- how convenient is that!?
The large capacity easily handles large dishes, and the sensor cooking worked well for reheating leftovers. However, the buttons aren't illuminated at night, making late-night reheating a fumble in the dark. Ideally, Samsung would allow light control through voice assistants (I couldn't seem to get it working through Google Home or Alexa).
Overall, this microwave is stylish, functional, and packed with smart features. While the lack of illuminated buttons is a bummer, the convenience of SmartThings and the spacious interior make it a strong product, that I am very happy with!

The matte black steel finish is a major upgrade from my old, ancient microwave. Plus, there's no bulky handle to break off when I'm reheating mac and cheese for the third time in a day.
But what really matters is how it functions. The large capacity is a lifesaver – finally, casserole dishes fit without a fight! The large turntable ensures even heating, no more lukewarm burritos.
The coolest feature, though? SmartThings app integration! No more hovering by the microwave, wondering if my nuggets are about to explode. My phone dings to let me know when dinner's done. Genius!
The only downside? The buttons aren't lit up at night. So yeah, gotta keep a nightlight nearby for those late-night microwave adventures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung over the range Bespoke Edge to Edge glass display microwave in matte black is a sleek and sophisticated upgrade to my kitchen. It looks great with my dark cabinets and the edge to edge glass is a high end look. I do wish finger prints didn’t show on the glass but it is easy to clean. The microwave has a ton of features and is smart app compatible. It is very easy to use and works well. You do have to really select the buttons on the display. My start button seems to be a little finicky but it does work once pressed on center and firmly. It heats well and evenly. I am very happy with the functionality it provides and how nice it looks in my kitchen.

Overall Impressions and Pros
This model is stunning - the matte black steel and glass display will make this microwave really stand out (in a good way) in any kitchen. From an appliance standpoint, the microwave does everything a microwave normally does such as heat food up at an impressive 1,000 watts, defrosting, and sensor cooking, which allows the microwave to heat up your food to the optimal temperature based on its smart sensors. This model offers a spacious 2.1 cu. ft of capacity so you can load it up with your biggest dishes. In addition to the standard features, this microwave has WiFi! You may be wondering why you need WiFi on a microwave. This microwave connects to the Samsung SmartThings app and allows you to do things like create custom food cooking programs and sync with your Samsung stove/range to turn the ventilation fan on and off when you use your stove - pretty cool! My favorite thing about having WiFi is the clock sets itself - no more staring at a blinking “12:00” and having to figure out how to set the time.
SmartThings App and Features
Linking this microwave to the Samsung SmartThings app unlocks additional features. In addition to doing basic things like setting the time and sending cook settings, you can view how much energy your microwave is using with the SmartThings Energy feature. The SmartThings app also provides you with a virtual cookbook, filled with easy-to-follow recipes that are tailored to your appliance. I love that I can find a recipe, follow it step by step, and “send” any cooking details directly to my microwave - it can’t get any easier! These features are even cooler when you have other SmartThings appliances such as a smart Samsung fridge or Samsung range/stove since they can all work together.
Cons
The only con that comes to mind is the “fingerprint-resistant” finish isn’t entirely resistant to fingerprints, but cleaning the exterior is a breeze with a soft cloth and some water to keep the matte black and glass front looking sharp.
Conclusion
If you're looking for a microwave that’s loaded with smart and practical features, this is the one to get!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the look of this microwave. It sleek and dark and goes so well with my stainless black appliances. My favorite feature is using the app to turn on and off the light. It also works great. No problems with it. Will definitely continue to use the Samsung brand in the future. Get this microwave and you can’t go wrong. The SmartThings App is really cool. I love being able to do things from a distance, Like shutting off the fan and light. The capacity of the Microwave is perfect size for a large meal. The Sensor cook is a cool feature to avoid having to turn it on several times or avoid overheating. The voice control works great! I can’t wait to try all the other features .
