Incredibly impressed with this set. It’s the first space themed technic set I have ever purchased and it did not disappoint in the least. The design is outstanding, both aesthetically and technically; providing a great build experience and an authentic science fiction model. Love it; great work Lego team!

We’ve built many of Lego’s recent Space vehicles (42158, 42180, 42182) and 42181 VTOL Heavy Cargo Spaceship is my favorite. Fun build, great play features that work flawlessly and a very reasonable price. Nice work Lego!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was the most excited to receive this product, it’s very beautiful. But it does take a lot of work to build it. You have to have a lot of patience and determination to achieve it. I do not recommend that they leave it within the reach of small children under 4 years old. It contains only small parts. The price is worth it, it’s very high.

As an adult this is hands down the most playable set I’ve seen in a while. I love that it has a handle and three movable functions within reach of the handle. And it looks awesome!
The only downside is the stickers, there are so many and I’ve never been a fan of stickers on legos. But overall I love having and playing with this set. I’d love to see more flyers like this that are clearly meant to be held and flown, especially in the space theme.
