Great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion of the product. This sewing machine is perfect for beginners and those who need a reliable, simple machine. It came packaged very well, and it came with a great dvd of detailed and very easy instructions. They were so helpful, and I was up and running fairly quickly. It comes with extra feet, an extra spindle for twin needles, twin needles, the tools it might require, and some bobbins. The controls are marked on the machine in relief, so it’s easy to find what is needed, and it has lots of utility type stitches, and some fun ones as well. It’s lightweight and fairly compact and easy to store. It’s a good design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m new to sewing and this machine has been great! Simple enough for a beginner, but has lots of features for a regular sewer. It has all of the necessary features and capabilities to perform reliably for all sewing desires. Loved how Easy the Directions were very simple step by step, with Pictures It isn’t a heavy machine and is very portable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Plenty of functions

It offers many functions such as many decorative stitches, a button holder, plus what is most used the straight stitch. Since is lighter weight than the bigger machines it will be easy to move from one location to another. I am very pleased with this machine.

Perfect for beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize the Brother SM3701 Sewing Machine multiple times and am beyond impressed by the ease and accuracy of this machine. As an amateur sewer, typically hand-sewing items, I was initially overwhelmed at the thought of learning a machine. However, the Brother SM3701 is absolutely perfect sewing machine for beginners such as myself. I found watching video tutorials to help a bit more than the manual instructions, but that is a learning preference. This machine comes with 37 stitch patterns that are adjustable in distance and size. The needle is self-threading and the machine comes with a light to help with accuracy when sewing. Although set-up and use was a small learning curve, I have found use to be intuitive as I go. The machine is all-around good quality, lightweight and has helped me sew coat pockets, girl scout patches and buttons. The time saved with this machine is invaluable and I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Brother Sm3701 sewing machine through the tryit sampling community. This machine is awesome . I love that it is for any level sewer . I like finding creative things for me and my daughter to use and this is simply awesome because we can do just that. It has so many options and can help you get the job done from simple sewing to being creative with different stitch patterns . I would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a new sewing machine.

It is a lightweight full featured sewing machine with a one step Auto size of buttonhole. it brightly lights your work area with an LED light. It comes with an instructional dvd. It has a jammer resistant quickset top bobbin.
