For many years I've preferred to manually shovel even the deepest and harshest snowfalls each winter -essentially considering them a "replacement" visit to the gym; basically a routine workout. That said, my True Temper shovel that has been the 'go to' staple since the early 90's was starting to show its age. Enter the Snow Joe Shovelution. Golly, what a difference in the amount of effort it takes to clear a driveway. It allows me to take a higher stance, meaning, I still get a great workout, but it is mostly with the arms and shoulders as the serious lower-back strain is mostly alleviated. So, while my physicality has seriously decreased with age the task at hand has thankfully gotten a little easier with this technologically advanced and well thought out tool. Time will tell if the Snow Joe has the longevity of my faithful old friend, but man is it off to a great start! Thanks Snow Joe...

I bought this shovel last year and was so grateful I did ! This shovel has a design that works better than any shovel I have used or for that matter most of my neighbors ! It is Top Notch and my other one holds up so well I bought one for the back door ! Thank you for a amazing one of a kind shovel !

The action of scooping up and heaving shovels full of snow can be backbreaking work. But with a Snow Joe, the addition of a second handle positioned such that you can put the strength of both arms to your advantage and thus reduce the strain on your back is an improvement that makes great sense. I will never go back to using ordinary snow shovels having used my Snow Joe with the wettest, heaviest snow from an early spring surprise dumping of 10 inches of the stuff. If you need to get extra tossing distance to clear your path there is no other way to go to get the job done quickly. I highly recommend the Snow Joe.
