No longer syncs

I loved my Garmin 840 and haven't had trouble for 3 years. But now it will never sync up with my phone. I have reset the device disconnected and reconnected the Garmin from the phone and no luck.

The computer works great but the connection to Garmin Connect to download activities is horrible

Button placement awkward

I bought to replace a Garmin 1000 which finally stopped working after about 8 - 10 years... loved that product! The Garmin 840 Solar seems ok thus far... however I think the button placement could be better. I feel like there is not a good way to turn it on without your fingers touching other buttons or not getting a good grasp of the device.

Had it for a month. Love knowing there is a car behind me. Works great with the radar and front light and the cadence sensor. No complaints whatsoever

I have been using Edge Cycling computers for many years. They are an excellent tool in every manner of training and ease of use. This one just took more time to set up and get used to.

Unacceptable failure

I’ve had this device two years and it has worked adequately. Then it died on the middle of a cross-country bike tour. For a device that is supposed to be rated to help navigate in the backcountry, for it to die under such non-extreme circumstances is totally unacceptable. It had trouble managing a route navigation and heart rate data, don’t trust it with your life.
