It's functionally perfect, user friendly, recently used it on a mountain biking adventure, and it was very reliable, kept up with my mileage and tracked by trip. Was easy to install and kept up with the abuse we put it through on our trip. This item is able to be used by any skill set from beginner to expert. Touch screen was responsive, could use some better mounting hardware though. Overall great experience.

I use this for road cycling. The battery life is amazing and new features above those on my okd 820 make it that much better

Everything you need in a bike computer

I bought this as an upgrade from my 520 Plus. I've only used it for a few rides but I am very impressed so far. I had the 820 but didn't like it so much because of the lack of buttons. I like that this has both buttons and touch screen. (Most of my rides throughout the year require warm gloves.) Connectivity to my phone and sensors has been smooth. I would recommend this to others.

Le bundle Garmin 840 est le parfait upgrade pour remplacer mon ancien ordi de bord pour vélo. La prise en main est facile et rapide. Les sensors des appareils dans le bundle étaient déjà connectés à l'appareil, ce qui est plus, car tu ça facilite la prise en main. L'écran tactile fonctionne très bien ainsi que les divers boutons sur l'appareil garmin. Les données affichées sont visibles facilement sur l'écran et la navigation entre les pages est fluide. Je recommande sans hésiter ce produit pour le vélo de route et de gravel.

Super reliable. It has functioned as designed with no service disruption. I cycle almost everyday. Routes and segments work great. GPS speed can be off some times.
