I have been using Night Owl security systems for 15 years.
My first unit was a 8 camera wired dvr, my second was a 16 a camera wired unit.
This is my third unit, a 16 camera wired unit with the option to add four additional wifi cameras. I hope that it performs as well as the first two, my only worry is that it runs hot as it does not have an internal fan as my first two systems did.
This may shorten the lifespan of the unit.

Great customer service and equipment

I have had my 16 channel wired DVR for over 10 years. It has worked flawlessly with the exception of a camera failure after about 6 years in service. I highly recommend this company. I have used recordings on my DVR to support the police. This is installed on my home. The images are clear and night vision works great. I have one PTZ camera and it also works great. In my opinion Night Owl is the leader in security cameras. The service is free as it should be and their service is excellent if its ever needed, which is very rare.
I would recommend this to a friend!
