Bath Time is a Breeze with this Bath Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this bath seat, and I do, too! At nine months old, he's not ready to sit solo in the tub so being in this seat provides him with just enough semi independence to play and splash around. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get his legs and bottom clean, but it's the same as it would be if he was just sitting in a tub.
The bath seat is super easy to clean and sanitize, too. Although an awkward shape, it's smaller than the baby bathtub we had so storing it is no problem. It was a little tricky to initially install because of the preciseness required to get the suction cups in just the right placement, but once you have that measured out it's a breeze. The seat is super sturdy so I don't have any fears he'll slip or tumble out.
Note: I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel but would highly recommend it to any parent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

With 2 kiddos bath-time was so hard! I purchased this item for my younger child so she could safely sit and her older brother can have the other half of the tub! It was perfect and made bath-time so much easier!!

We've used this seat when my son was 7-9 months old and he seemed to really enjoy it. As a parent, I enjoyed the security it gave me, knowing that he was supported and comfortable and I could still bathe him thoroughly and let him enjoy some splashing too. I'm not sure how my son would've done when he was 5-months, which is the minimum age recommended, but I think if your infant can sit comfortably in a bumbo (which I would compare this seat to size-wise), then he or she should be able to use this bath seat. This also eased my concerns with switching from the infant tub to a full-size tub. I really appreciate how easy it is to install and felt very secure using it for our baths. I also love that it fits differently shaped tubs easily and required no assembly. Size-wise I'd I wish there was a hook or a loop to hang it up to dry or put away between uses. When we had a newborn tub, I was keen on it having a hook to hang it up on our shower rod to dry out and be out of the way between uses. It would be great if this had one too! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bath seat!

Scary experience!

I thought this bath seat was wonderful until my grandson almost got stuck in it. Scary!! Scary!! My daughter and I was giving him a bath and before we knew it, he had somehow got one leg through the side while the other was through the front. We could not lift him out of the seat. It was so upsetting!! I had to call my husband to come help! His leg was bruised from us trying to lift him out. There was not enough room for him to bend his leg in that awkward position. There should be a way to open the front up to get your infant out. I literally was ready to call 911. I would not recommend this seat until there is a new version that has some way to open the front up to get your infant out.

Great baby item to have

I received the summer infant bath seat for free from weeSpring.
I would say that I was a little bit skeptical at the beginning and worried about my baby's safety on the first day of use because I have a very active baby. But, I took the time to securely reinstall the bath seat on the weekend. I can assure you that my baby and I were more relaxed. He was excited to be seated on his own instead of me holding him as usual. This seat makes it easier to wash your little one. The back was at mid level because he is tall, but it would be a little higher if you have a small baby. Other than that, it's a great item for teaching and giving your baby some independence while bathing them.
Bought this for my son tried a few times but it would not stay. It kept moving out of place.

My husband and I love this tub chair. It is very secure and compact. My 6 month old loves sitting in it, and it’s sturdy and secure. It allows him to sit up without falling forward. This product was given to me as a sample for review.

From two people to one seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this seat as a sample. We went from it taking two of us, one to hold baby and the other to do the washing, to being able to sit her up in this seat with no worries. It is sooo much easier! The seat fits nicely in our tub, even with the sloped back. At first it was difficult to adjust, but I think that is because it was just new, but after installing and uninstalling a few times I've caught on and now it is a breeze. I love that the instructions were printed on the chair itself. My daughter enjoys the little more freedom she has to splash and play and I don't have to worry about her toppling over. It takes a lot of stress out of bath time.
