Transition to tub made easier

This tub makes bath time with a wobbly baby a bit less nerve wracking for first time parents. If your baby is just starting to sit up independently but isn't quite there yet you may want to consider this product. The installation is straight foward- you suction cup the seat into your tub. Make sure to measure your tub, because this isn't a one size fits all product. The suction cups are a nice feature, but if you have multiple children or use the same tub as your baby you might get tired of reinstalling the product every single time. It's a great product, but the time period babies spend in the "wobbly" stage is so short it makes it hard to justify buying this product, especially if you're short on space. Thanks Parent Panel for providing me with this bath seat.

The bath seat was a gift and the recipient was very happy to get it for her 9 mo old daughter! I don’t feel I can accurately rate it although it seems to be the best bath seat I’ve seen.

Great bathtub for newly mobile babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 10 months old and is getting mobile, so I thought he just at the edge of not being able to use this bath seat, but I was eager to test it out anyway. He loves the bath but after a while tries to stand up. I was worried he would be upset about being confined to the bath seat, but turns out he LOVES this seat! I can tell from looking at him that he feels safe and secure in the seat. What is helpful is that he can concentrate on playing with his toys instead of worrying about moving around in the tub when playing. He leans back in the tall seat, is all smiles, and doesn't try to get out of it or protest that he is stuck.
I was a bit worried that it would be hard to set up since there was a link for viewing the setup instructions on my phone. But I found that installing the seat was a breeze! I put the seat into the tub, extended the rear arm (the only thing that was a bit harder for me - I had to push hard), and extended the suction cups on the sides. Removing it after I was done with the bath was just as easy.
The rear arm was pretty stiff. I had to really shove it to get it to move to the proper position so that it didn't stick out into my son's back.
I would suggest just a bit more room in the depth of the seat. That was really only the complaint I have - it is a bit tough for me to clean his privates - I have to do it quick out of the seat when the rest of the bath is done.
I love this seat. I'm glad that I was given a chance to review it! I will use it as long as I can with my son and will recommend it to friends.
When he is done with it, I will have to find a place to store it to hopefully use with another child if I am so blessed. It's a bit bulky but I really like it so it's something worth keeping around.

Bath seat game changer?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Summer Infant My Bath Seat changed my thoughts on bath seats. I have not bothered to shop for bath seats in the past, because I was never impressed with the safety of the ones I have seen. I prefer to bathe my babies in baby tubs and then move them to a clothes basket inside the big tub when I just could not use the baby tub anymore. I was given the Summer Infant My Bath Seat to try from the Wee Spring Parent Panel; many thanks to Wee Spring and Summer Infant. I opened the box, and I looked for directions. I didn't end up needing them, because directions are printed on the seat itself in very simple 1,2,3,4 steps. It was a little awkward the first time I set it up, but I never fully took it down after the first time, & it's super simple to reset that way. 1 extended arm to the back, some positioning in your tub, & some tightening, and you're done. If you tighten the sides well, they are very sturdy. The back arm made me nervous. There is a warning on the seat not to use if you do not have a standard shaped bathtub, & I think my back wall is tilted a bit too far. I couldn't get the back arm to feel consistently secure, but I stayed with my baby. The selling point for me- my baby loved it. She loved being able to sit up more freely and splash. I am only sad that we could not use it longer, but at 8 months, my baby tries to wiggle out- an indicator to discontinue use. All in all, great experience.

Mom Must Have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] okay, so this product is pretty cool! I have a 7 month old little boy that wants to sit up all the time now. He is def way too big for his infant bath tub. I love that he can sit up for his entire bath without the risk of him slipping out of my hand. Babies are fast and well he is fast. It's super easy to install. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I don't love the way it looks so much, however, its functions make up for that, for sure. Gives me piece of mind

I received this product from Summer Infant to facilitate this review. My foster baby is eight months old but she is not a steady sitter. However, she loves to sit and play in the bath. With the My bath Seat, she can happily play for longer. I don’t have to worry about my arms getting tired holding her up or having a squirming baby slip out of my hands. My Bath Seat fit securely in my tub and I had no fear of it moving. I would highly recommend this to all my friends!
