[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has really been a great printer right out of the box. The first day I owned owned it I used every function. It was easy to set up and easy to use the many different functions. I was even able to print from my phone with ease. I was loving it,, until... I went to print from my older laptop that I usually use for myself. It wouldn't print. After troubleshooting I found that my older HP laptop did not support 5G so I needed to change the printer connection from 5G to the 2.4G. It took me some doing to get that done I'll tell you. I'm not a computer IT guy, but I do know some what how to hook up a computer printer. This one beat me down. I finally got it working, I have no idea how, but it is now printing in 2.4. I just wish it was as easy as bringing up a list of connections for the printer and connecting it. I had to go through the entire setup procedure again. It was a very intensive job getting it done. Other than that it has been a really good printer, scanner,, Fax Machine and copier.
Everything seems to be just wonderful I love the performance of the machine itself but I feel it could have used better directions on how to use. Is still giving use to having to go to the app to is app to execute any action versus just being able to push a button on the printer look at God
This printer is generally just fine. There are, however, two problems with it. First, the on/off button does not function and I have to unplug it to turn it off. Second, after printing, it should release the paper after the ink drys. However, this takes a very long time -- on the order of about 5 minutes.
Making the PC or iPad talk to the printer was terrible. Why are you making this so difficult
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
