Scans a tad slow but not a deal breaker. Love that I have 4 free 300-pg months of printing when I signed up for HP Instant Ink.

Also, the only way to fax is through your cell phone. I did not want that either. So I returned it and purchased another printer.

I bought this printer/scan/copier because of the brand. I had an old officeJet printer that worked very well for many years, so I thought I would stay with HP. Wrong. Since I got the Envy Pro 6455 it's been nothing but problems. I took three technicians over 2 hours to finally set up the printer. Then the Instant Ink saga: I had an account with the old officeJet printer, so I wanted to transfer the service to the new printer. Another 2 hours on the phone to transfer the account. 2 weeks later the new, larger Instant Ink cartridges arrived. I removed the cartridges that came with the new printer and installed the Instant Ink cartridges: the printer went into error code mode and wouldn't print at all. Called the service and they will send new cartridges and hope they work. This printer is nothing but junk, I'm thinking that I will return it while still under warranty
