This is a terrible way to design a printer. There is no way on the printer to see the status of the printer or even find the IP address of the printer. Not everyone on the planet has Microsoft Windows. Without this you are in the dark how to get this printer up and running. When we got bogged down and called HP we got the famous tag-team help people. If someone did not know the answers they would hand us off to another HP tag-team who did not know the answers until we finally gave up and got it running on our own and we have no idea how we did it. What a great product
I like the concept of the printer. However the printer I got out of the box had issues. I have spent 4 hours with tech support total troubleshooting the issue. Don't get me started with HP tech support, but that is for a different topic. Over all I feel like I've just waisted my time and money on HP. I got my printer on October 3rd and till this day (Oct 24) I have not been able to use it.
My old HP printer had a window that I could access in the front with: copies - number of documents and select black or colored printer maintenance and print a practice page. many other features This is Garbage - I hate it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
