Not what I expected

I purchased the printer about a month or so ago. The first few days it worked but now I have had issues keeping it connected with our network. It will work for a day or two and then forget the connection. When it does work it had a decent printing capabilities, but it hasn't been as easy or accessible as I would have liked. It's hard to use the features if it won't recognize 3/6 devices in the house. I should have just kept my HP Envy 4500.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection. I can easily understand why this would be a most unwelcome surprise, especially considering the device worked well for a few days and the break in connectivity since then has been persistent. I want to help you remedy this problem, so I’ll direct you to some resources I hope will reach that goal.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. You can find that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If you cannot resolve the problem, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
The printer shows "offline" and I have to open HP Easy Start and reinstall the driver every time. Then it takes hours to actually print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry that your printer has performed so poorly for you. Your review is relatively brief, but your predicament could not be more clear – and your dissatisfaction more understandable. I want to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll direct you to some resources and information I hope will accomplish that goal.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity and printer-offline difficulties. You can find that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If the problem persists, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. I’ll point out that HP+ printers come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number: - hp.com/plus-help
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
Very satisfied with the efficiency of the printer. I am now able to perform tasks at home that used to $$cost$$ me to outsource. The technology is very user friendly; and since I am still a bit of a techno-dinosaur, my success depends on this efficient ease of use. Getting ready to embark on a major project, with confidence.
I've had my new printer for about 3 months, and it has exceeded all my expectations. Mostly, it is simple to use (important for a not-very-hi-tech person). The print quality is very clean and clear. I expected it to be slower. And, I like how it keeps track of how much I'm printing. Previously, I had no clue.
Easy to use. My only complaint is there were no clear instructions on how to set up & use. I am an older boomer and not very tech savvy. I needed clear instructions. Once a tech helped me via phone, it’s a great printer. However I had to figure out on my own how to operate it.
At this time I don't have much to say. I recently purchased the printer and just received my first replacement cartridges. Much easier than trying to find replacements from the store. I like that I can put the old cartridges in the mail to be recycled. However, I did not look & read the return bag for the cartridges and had it sealed before I realized I should have held on to it for the next refills.
