Won't stay online and getting it back online is a nightmare. 20% of my printing has been used with reports that the printer spits out. Nor is instant ink. Printed 51 copies; black cartridge empty; and no replacements. "Never Run Out of Ink" rings hollow!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the offline issue persists – and for input on the unwanted printed items you describe – I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
It prints, it scans, it has an ADF, it was easy to setup, and it was cheaper than a new one. I have also noticed that the issue I experienced w/ older HP wireless printers losing connectivity with the network have been resolved. Great value and highly recommend for light home printing needs.
It doesn't work with my work computer as I cannot download the HP Smart software. And my Microsoft store is not letting me download HP Smart either. So, I guess I cannot use this printer.
Problems started at set up. It took me a night and Sat morning to get the WiFi to connect. I still don't know what it's issue is. Then there's the lack of labeling for the lights and buttons. Unforgivable design faults. But once connected it does a good job printing and scanning.
blue light says on all the time. not sure if unit is off like some web info says. To really turn off button in back. not good. If you want to use USB connection it is a pain to get to work without using phone app. Can be done but you have to pretty smart to do it. Would not buy again.
