it was very hard to set up. finally had to call Tech Service. they took control and did it. I miss the days where you just hooked up and the printer connected. no option after option. I should have got the model with the screen. lights don't tell me anything. when it was all done the prints were good
I thought since this was not a very cheap printer it would be nice.....well it is not at all user friendly. You can not use it without logging into your computer to do anything but copy. You can not even see the buttons on it to know what they are. I do not like it at all. I have had numerous HP printers and this is the only one I hate. Make sure to look for one that has a display screen on it. Wish I could exchange this one for a good one but I can't afford to buy another so I am stuck with junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had HP printers for some time now, and was happy to see that I could get a newer one with more features at a very reasonable price. I was comfortable buying a refurbished printer because of the quality and service that HP offers.
Simple little printer for what I need. I need occasional copies and printed documents. If I need to fax I can do that as well with the mobile fax feature. I also bought it for tge paper feed tray instead of the rear paper feed that never works. Great refurbished printer!
Disappointed in this product's inconsistent wireless connectivity. Cant recommend for anything more than copying or hardwire connection
