Nice style, convenient access

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like this so far. Came with new house. Buttons (touch pad) takes a little more pressure than my wife can often muster. Wish the sensitivity was adjustable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was in our house when it was built (spec house). We would not have chosen this unit otherwise. It does the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. We bought it 10 days ago and we really like it. Our Frigidaire went out after only 14 months. We decided to go with a Whirlpool.

Poor quality
on December 17, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Low quality appliance, told it was “builders grade” for the “gourmet kitchen” upgrade. The builders obviously don’t care about quality. Oven will not keep temperature or preheat to set temperature. I have checked the temperature with an oven thermometer. Inconsistent performance and reliability.

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Electric Range.
Please see the following troubleshooting tips.
Comprehensive Guide to Oven Preheat Performance and Troubleshooting
The time an oven takes to reach the desired temperature is crucial for successful cooking.
Normal Oven Preheat Benchmarks (to 350°F / 175°C)
Standard Electric (Visible Element): 12 - 15 minutes (± 5 minutes). Heats faster due to direct radiant heat.
Standard Electric (Hidden Bake Element): Approximately 20 minutes (± 5 minutes). Longer, more even heat-up process.
Gas Ovens: Typically 8 - 12 minutes. Generally faster due to immediate high heat source.
Important Note on Higher Temperatures:
Preheat times are not linear.
Higher target temperatures (e.g., 450°F or 500°F) require significantly longer durations.
Allow an additional 5-10 minutes (or more) for every 100°F increase above 350°F.
Troubleshooting Abnormally Slow Preheat Times
1. Incorrect Oven Setup and Usage
Improper Rack Placement: Unused metal racks act as heat sinks.
Solution: Remove all non-essential racks before preheating.
Frequent or Prolonged Door Opening: Causes a massive loss of accumulated heat.
Solution: Avoid opening the door until the preheat signal confirms completion.
Misuse of Aluminum Foil or Liners: Disrupts airflow and heat circulation, and can cause inaccurate temperature readings.
Solution: Do not line the oven bottom. Use minimal foil on a rack for drips, ensuring ventilation is not blocked.
2. Electrical and Environmental Factors (Electric Ovens Only)
Insufficient Electrical Service Voltage (208V vs. 240V): 208V service (common in commercial/older buildings) reduces wattage, resulting in expected slower preheat times. This is a normal operational characteristic, not a defect.
Malfunctioning Heating Elements: A failed bake or broil element forces the remaining element(s) to work harder, dramatically increasing preheat time.
Inspection: Visually check elements for breaks, blistering, or failure to glow red.
3. Component Malfunction
Failing Temperature Sensor Probe: A residue-coated or failed sensor provides inaccurate readings, leading to improper cycling and prolonged preheat time.
Control Board Issue: A defective Electronic Control Board (ECB) may improperly manage power to the heating elements, causing slow or intermittent heating.

Aggravating
on December 21, 2025
Posted by: Mimi
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The use of the oven timer is aggravating. (I am not talking about the cook timer) If you need to cook the food longer minutes than you entered in the timer, and enter new minutes, it sometimes causes the oven to cancel the temperature thus making you have to put temp in again and wait for oven to preheat before you can finish baking ! I see i am not the only one who has this problem according to on line complaints. Also there is no manual in the delivery box of the oven nor on the internet that gives you any information regarding the use
of oven specifics
