Lots of fun to build. Little bit complex as there are three different moving functions so be attentive to doing those parts correctly.

This is one of the best lego builds, incredibly well built, great to display and had lots of moving pieces for play value. It also has a huge set of all new/exclusive mini figures. It's a bit expensive but you definitely get what you paid for, super high quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this build and was amazed at the engineering that went into the various functions. Once complete it has been nothing but oohs and aahs as I show it off. The movement of the wings, landing gear/ramp and wing foldback are honestly astounding capabilities that make everyone want to see for themselves and play. 5/5 great set.

Amazing Set

I got this set for me and my sons. I love DUNE and was large part of why I got this. I will say if I didn't have the huge affinity for DUNE, the set might be a little to much technic properties. I love our Ghostbusters Ecto 1 and Delorean, but had more percent of trad. lego building. But overall love it and great addition to our special 20 set collection (our special sets, we have several more that have been mixed up with two young boys)

What else can said about the Ornithopter that hasn't already been said? This was easily the most interesting, complex, and satisfying set I think I've ever built. I tend to stay away from Technic sets, but the wing and landing gear mechanisms are just incredible. I truly hope LEGO keeps the spice flowing with more Dune-themed sets!

This set is everything Lego should be. Playable and awesome aesthetics! Workable wings and landing gear. A set of figures that's awesome and all for a decent price. Run, don't walk!
