The injection marks must show!

“The spice must flow” is an apt analogy for this set, as Lego has continuously sacrificed quality for profit the last few years… The injection points are painfully visible on bricks now… it’s really sad to see the quality decline and the price just keep going up. Props on environmental goals but this is cutting corners (literally) on quality leading to bricks that look worse than 3rd party brands. Lego used to say “only the best is good enough” … well Lego is no longer good enough to justify the price. It’s been a fun hobby to get back into but I think I’m going to limit my purchases. You’ve turned a lifelong fan against your brand, Lego.

Gorgeous but flawed

I love the design of this model. It looks great with tons of playability. However, as clever as the Technic mechanisms are, I was disappointed with the flapping. I had to rebuild a couple of times to make sure I got it right and never could get it to flap much. Plus the useless bay door that stays open when the landing gear is down was something I would never have been okay with as a designer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was extremely disappointed in the overtechnicality of this set. It ruined a potentially great addition to my collection. I relegated it to being thrown back in the box. A single mistake undid hours of work.

Cheaply Made and frustrating build

The build was an overall frustrating experience. I didn't even bother finishing it because I hated it that much. Some of the pieces barely fit together and functioned poorly. Some pieces were clearly defective and did not work as well as others of the same type. Overall, I think this may be my last lego set ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

QC had the day off

My daughter and I were really excited for this build…. Then we opened the box.
First the QR code to register our set was completely smeared and unable to scan to register it which kinda stunk but not a huge deal. There were multiple missing pieces (thankfully we have a large collection to pull from, minus the set specific pieces), pages missing…. correction, pages printed out of order, and crumpled cape for the Baron (we lightly ironed to get it slightly better).
Overall it’s a cool set and was fun once we got past the multiple issues we had with this set. Pretty disappointed in the quality of this set though.

This is the greatest set of all-time for me. What an amazing, challenging and rewarding experience. I almost want to take it all apart and rebuild this bad boy. Genius design and it offers so much playability!

I am a big collector ( over 150 sets) and this is one of the most impressive sets I own, the build was very technical and the outcome is a large display model that cry's out to be picked up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best Lego sets to come out

I'd 100% recommend this set to my friends, excellent functionality and realism to the movie. I've heard people complain about the lack of interior, but the functions beat that out all day. If I were to form one criticism, it would be that I would have liked the technic pins to have been black or grey vice red.
