Machine works well but I am unable to get it to work with my Windows XP and the help I requested was useless.

still having problems

We have owned and been using this printer for over three months. Works fine except for two very serious problems which we have been unable to overcome. (1) when addressing an envelope, it addresses the envelope but also pulls through a sheet of paper from the tray, with nothing printed on it; (2) it prints all documents two-sided, even though we have set "one side only" as the default everywhere. Don't know if this is a printer problem or a word processor problem, and don't know how to fix it or who to ask for help about it.

Brother Backs Products But This One....

While Brother is a fabulous company that backs their products; I have found this printer (the replacement, and original just needs a new part) to be slightly problematic. Of current, there is a dark line down the middle of my pages. I changed toner but it has not helped.

I like it it’s pretty fast. The prints are clear, except for tiny fonts then they look a little blurry. Overall I think it’s great. Very user friendly with the color display. The scanner works great the scans are as good as originals
