Workhorse of a printer

We always go to Brother products for all our fax, copy and scanning products. For one, we make sure they use the same toners which prevents us from keeping 10 different toners. We always use the factory toners because of reliability. Jus t have always use them

A pretty good machine

My unit is used mainly as a printer and it does a great job. Print is beautiful. I also use the scanner and as a copier. I haven't used the fax feature because I no longer use a land line.
If I would improve anything I'd make it easier to remove the printed material from the tray and I'd also find a way to make the copies stack nice and neat so you don't have to jog them. This is a really impressive machine.

Great machine except for a jamming issue

I love the machine. super fast scans and copies.
I print more than 8000 pages a month and it is a workhorse.
The reason I only gave 3 stars.... I used two of the exact same model and they both jam periodically when changing from letter to legal size printing in a mixed PDF document.
In the machines defense - I do use cheap paper. That may be the cause.

It took quite a lot of work to set it up to print docs with mixed sizes, probably because I was pairing it with a Mac. But Brother Support was really helpful. Once I get it set up, it has been great.
