Just know outside of the warranty period if it breaks they are not fixing it and they are not offering parts. It is junk, and they use internal plastic drive parts so these tools break under normal use...
Pros: Quiet

Hello BwReviews. We are sorry to hear about your recent experience with us. It is unfortunate that this process has made you lose confidence in us. We, at Greenworks like any other brand, have a warranty procedure we must adhere to for warranty claims and their timelines. Greenworks 80V platform is backed by a 4-year tool limited & 4-year battery warranty which is more than double industry standard. This means you have got a little protection on your investment. It also makes a statement on how much Greenworks stands behind their products. The Greenworks website offers a dedicated section for parts and accessories, including those for 80V mowers. You can browse by product category or search for specific parts using the model number or SKU. Tips for Finding the Right Part: 1. Know your model number: Locate your lawn mowers' model number, which is usually found on the product itself or the packaging. 2. Find the SKU or ERP number: The SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) number can also be helpful in finding the correct replacement part. 3. Check compatibility: When purchasing parts online, always double-check the compatibility information to ensure the part works with your specific Greenworks 80V lawn mower model.

Poor design with torque. Will return.

Just received today 25 inch dual blade. Keep stopping due to lack power. It did not switch from one battery to the other. Requires charging after every 15 minutes. If grass is too thick, it will not run. There is a gap between two blades. You have cut twice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to charge. Easy to operate. I have a half acre of zoysia grass so my motor works hard but gets the job done. I do have to recharge before I’m done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Mower with a couple serious flaws

First the positive points. The run time for the 25" Mower with two 4Ah batteries is excellent. The machine is powerful and cuts well. However, there are two serious flaws. The self propelled drive mechanism does not disengage when you stop. You must push machine forward to disengage, Very annoying. Second, the bag size for the 25" mower is tiny. I expected a much larger bag for a wider machine.

Hello alex_like_fresh_cut_grass, Always enjoy hearing from our customers. We greatly appreciate your feedback and are glad you had some pros and cons to share with us. We use information like this and work with the various teams within Greenworks to market, design, and sell the products our customers want and needs. We'd love to talk a little about the collection bag and self-propelled feature. Greenworks collection bag can hold up to 52 liters or 1.5 bushels (14 liquid gallons) before it needs to be emptied. The self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We hope this helps. We hope this information helps you understand our product better, and perhaps encourages you to give it a second chance!

While having the power, the "engineering team" has NO concept of a true "high lift" blade. Thusly making the machine a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Response from greenworkstools.comBy Greenworks, September 18, 2024
Hello Disenchanted. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. Stock mower blades perform well on dry, shorter grasses, and are optimized for efficiency, while high lift blades work better in extreme conditions but have a small effect on the runtime. The high-lift blade has deeper curves on the ends, which increase suction to circulate and expel the clippings. The higher airflow also helps prevent clogging. When to use high lift lawn mower blades: • When you are cutting tall grass (Grass over 3" tall) • When you are cutting flimsy grass such as turf-type tall fescue When not to use high lift lawn mower blades: • In sandy soil conditions It sounds like you will need to contact us directly some further information would be required to be better assist. Please start a Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We look forward to helping you better.

80V Self propelled no longer works

Self propel feature no longer working. Mower only has Approximately 10 uses. I don’t believe the self propel motor is getting a voltage. When will greenworks have pcb replacement available? A new mower is being sent but i have very low confidence it will last without breakdown. Parts need to be made available gor this to be a quality purchase. Quality control on this design is also to be questioned.

Amazing features and value for money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps the most compelling reason to choose the Greenworks 25-Inch 80V mower is the exceptional value it offers. Greenworks matches or exceeds these features at a significantly more affordable price point. You get dual blades, self-propulsion, a wider cut, superior battery technology, and durable construction—often for hundreds less.

Don't buy

Do not buy this. It routinely stops during use and the blades seem to lower on their own, digging into the ground and ruining patches of lawn, especially when using the bag. It also stalls frequently and has been more hassle than it’s worth.
Response from greenworkstools.comBy Greenworks, June 2, 2025
Hello gran1. Thank you for your question. If the mower stops during use, there could be a few issues that could be causing this. 1) check to see if the unit or battery is too warm. If either is warm the unit may shut off. There is an internal circuit breaker in our batteries. Take the battery indoors and allow it to cool for about 30 minutes and try again. 2) Make sure to start the unit correctly. Always push and hold the safety button first, as the safety button is being held down use your other hand to lift the bale handle. Once the unit starts release the safety switch and continue to hold onto the bale handle. We ask that you clean out the underdeck of the mower and ensure that the grass bag is empty. Any build-up of debris could affect the performance of the unit and prevent proper power. Do not spray water under the deck of the mower. For caked-on grass, use a scraper to get rid of the grass, and then you can use a damp cloth to wipe off loose pieces. Finish by wiping with the dry cloth. We also suggest removing the blade and fan to clear out any debris around the motor shaft. If, after attempting the troubleshooting tip and, the problem persists. We recommend contacting our customer support team for assistance with properly submitting a warranty claim. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, accessible by clicking “Chat with an Expert” in the bottom corner of your screen, Chat with a Live Agent I Monday - Friday: 9:30am – 5pm EST or by calling 1-888-909-6757 between 9AM and 7PM EST, M-F. So, our experts can discuss your experience; please have your unit, battery and charger with you along with the model and serial number to complete troubleshooting to ensure quick resolution is provided.
