Out performs 30in gas mower

Replaced my gas 30" mower with the 25" and so far I'm really happy about the switch this year. The counter rotating blades disperses the grass to the outer sides is the mower provides a better spread without side discharge. I don't bag, it's pointless.
I have engaged the safety shutoff when I caught a bit of chicken wire, and it still works great. However, be careful. The gears can strip that create the counter rotation, and they are not available for purchase currently. Proper yard prep is necessary with removing branches and obstacles. Thick and wet grass was no problem, just don't expect to cut too much at once. If so, double cut. The self propelled feature is good but it's not auto adjusting to speed. There's a delay to disengage the wheels to allow free movement into reverse. Just release the gears a few seconds before turning around. You can push the mower without self propelled on, but it's hard without it going up hill.
It's nice to listen to music and mow. And no gas is a plus. I just wish I could order the gears to have on hand.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Great Mower

We used this mower for the first time today. It’s powered by two 80v 2.5Ah batteries. The lawn is large and finished with battery to spare. It switched flawlessly from the depleted battery to the second. The cut was excellent. We bagged clippings today and will likely mulch next time. Everything worked exactly as advertised.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric mower. I am really impressed with power of this mower! The 4ah battery is just enough to finish our 1/4 acre yard. Sometimes I run out just before I finish if the grass is a bit longer. I love the single lever raise/lower function. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the mulching insert does not sit tightly in the chute so the chute fills with grass clipping. When I fold the lawnmower up, it dumps grass all over the garage or driveway.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several 80/82V Greenworks tools including the zero turn mower, blower, chainsaw, and now the self-propelled mower. My wife loves the zero turn mower (I rarely get to use it.) and the other tools have been easy to use and dependable. The 25 in mower has helped make mowing our our sloped yard much easier. The twin blades seem to chop up the grass finer for better mulching. And of course not having to deal with gasoline and oil is a plus.

Ok mower with limitations.

I have had this mower for three years. Observations: Good construction. Decent power but will overheat and shutdown when mowing high grass. Very irregular cut that I attribute to poor lift of mower blades. Many bent grass blades remain uncut meaning I must cut some areas twice to get the grass level even. This is particularly true in areas where grass has been pushed down by wheels or center path area where blades should overlap, but do not. Blades do not hold sharpness well. Be prepared to have two sets or sharpen frequently. This is an ok mower, but I wish I had purchased a different battery driven mower or Honda gas mower.
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Docboss302.
Thank you for your review. Your honest input is appreciated as we are always looking for areas to further improve our products to ensure our customers are completely satisfied. We read your review and wanted to thank you for both the detail and the feedback you have provided. We will be sure to share it internally.
If you don’t let the grass, get too high, you’ll be in good shape as far as getting an even cut. However, if you’ve let the grass get long, you’ll likely need to make a few passes for it to look even. One of the ways it’s able to provide a consistent cut is its sensory technology. This technology senses how tough or high the grass is and adjusts the power output accordingly. So, if you’re going over a flat area with low grass, it won’t put out as much in the way of RPMs, and if it hits a tougher spot, it ramps up the power to keep up. When to sharpen lawn mower blades, factors such as how much use, what type of grass you are cutting, the length of grass you are cutting, soil conditions, and other factors will determine how often you will need to sharpen your lawn mower blades. Greenworks blades have a protective coating on them, which makes them seem dull, but the coating wears off after a couple of minutes of use, and the steel underneath is quite sharp. Typically, we suggest sharpening or replacing at least once per season. We hope these suggestions helps. Great mower with some limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 months ago, here is my observations; the mower itself is strong, not gas strong but does the trick, there is some learning curve and some lag between pressing the forward handle and the response of the mower but nothing major. I got this for my brother who is not into maintenance. so this is perfect. no oil or filters to change. charge and play.
