Poor cutting quality.

I want to love this mower but the cut quality is poor, even at the highest setting, flat ground,etc.. I took it to an authorized service center and they agreed that the cut quality was poor but the blades were balanced, sharp, etc so there was nothing technically wrong. Not sure what to do as I am not sure it is just my mower or if it is all mowers of this type.
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello ppinrich.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear of this experience. When the lawn is being cut uneven, this can indicate a few different things. The first being that the lawn itself is rough or uneven. However, if this is not the case then it is possible that the grass is too tall, or the cutting height is set too low for the type of grass. Try raising the cutting height and reduce walking speed to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. We hope these suggestion provide a more enjoyable user experience. Should you have any questions or warranty needs, contact us through Live Chat on Greenworks Tools website (www.greenworkstools.com) or 1-855-345-3934. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.

Amazing initial impression 24 hours in.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had my new 80v 25" mower for 24 hours but so far I am impressed. Easy to unpack, assemble and get mowing. The deck is so light and easy to handle. Won't be trenching my yard if I have to mow when it is damp. The electric motor is very quiet. I was worried about the speed of the self-propel system after owning a big gas powered mower with variable speed. Turns out I was worried for nothing because when I set the self-propel to the fastest setting and the thing took off! Battery charging was really fast. Nice job Greenworks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one 4-5 weeks ago which works like a charm, it's soi easy to charge and go without getting any fume. I have many product such as Lawn Mower, Leaf Blowers and Chain Saw, all are great products, love to use them any time.

Great Power and Smart Design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how strong this mower is! It has plenty of power to handle my lawn easily, and the blower is super strong too. I can even clean off my lawn mower with it instead of having to scrape it with a chisel!
My only criticism is that I wish the batteries lasted a little bit longer. That being said, it did last for my whole lawn, but I picked up an extra battery just in case. I really like that it has a second chamber for an extra battery and only needs one to run, very convenient design.
Overall, I highly recommend this package. It’s way better than the 48v 20-inch mower I previously had, more power, smarter features, and the blower is a huge bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because it does 3/4 acre.....I live on 5 with 2.5 mowable......unboxed.....tested.......AWESOME-SAUCE
Changing deck height is quite possibly the easiest thing I have ever done on a mower.....quiet......NO MORE EAR PROTECTION
So happy with it.....BOUGHT THE 54 INCH ZERO TURN
Can't wait for that to arrive
Will still use 25 inch for my drainfield
Very happy

Misrepresentation of the acreage it does
on September 4, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The article, when you read about it, greenworks, says this mower goes three quarters of an acre, but when you get the box, it states only one third of an acre. Their description of the product doesn't actually match what the box says when you received the product. I could not figure out how to add the image of the box.

This mower bogs down easily, doesn't have a side discharge which results in mulch clumps and restarts in thicker grass unless bagging. Battery run time is much less than advertised. Self propelled jerks forward causing wheelies and locks forward when trying pull the mower back. I'm disappointed in everything other the the 25" cutting path.
Pros: Convenient, Quiet, Environmentally Safe

Hello Mr. Mower. Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear that your mowing experience has been frustrating. Thick or damp grass can sometimes cause the mower to work harder, which may lead to clumping or bogging, especially without a side discharge option. Runtime can also vary depending on grass conditions, cutting height, and terrain. The self-propelled system is designed to engage smoothly, so the jerking or difficulty when pulling back is not the experience we want for our customers. We will be sure to share your feedback with our product team, and if you have not already, we encourage you to connect with our customer care team so they can help troubleshoot these concerns. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, accessible by clicking “Chat with an Expert” in the bottom corner of your screen, Chat with a Live Agent I Monday - Friday: 9:30am – 5pm EST or by calling 1-888-909-6757 between 9AM and 7PM EST, M-F. So, our experts can discuss your experience; please have your unit, battery and charger with you along with the model and serial number to complete troubleshooting to ensure quick resolution is provided. *Hours are subject to change.

No replacement parts

Beware if you buy the 60 or 80v 25 inch mower. You can not get replacement parts for them. I need a new gear and Greenworks doesn't sell them. I will have to scrap/salvage a 2 year old mower.
