Just what I needed

My property is irrigated however over time and changes, there were two areas that were not getting wet other than from an occasional rain storm. I bought the hose timer kit with the hub installed it very easily and then bought another timer. Love the control I have even through my “alexa” devices. Thanks Rachio!

Finally a reliable hose timer

After years of dealing with standard hose timers for my drip systems it’s an enormous relief to at last have a device that is simple , and reliable. While the initial cost is slightly higher than the hardware store devices, having to replace them every year or two runs up the cost. My flowers on the front porch are grateful.

Great timer

I love the web enabled timer. My only criticism is the hub has problems reconnecting to Wifi if the power or Wifi goes down. The timer valve continues with it's instructions but when I was out of town, I could not review the water delivered or change the schedule.

Adds true convenience

The Smart hose timer really makes accessing outdoor water needs a truly painless endeavor. I’m mobility limited and reaching outdoor water faucet is difficult. I added the Smart Hose timer to the faucet and can turn the water on using my mobile device. Well constructed.

Mostly Works as Expected

Setup was straightforward and easy enough. System would activate whenever commanded. Scheduled watering seems to be working. However, flow detection does not work, which was a key feature that I wanted since I am away for an extended period of time. This non-functioning feature is a significant disappointment.
