Water new trees

I was so impressed with the Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller that I installed a few years ago, I bought two Smart Hose Timer to ensure our new trees get adequate water to survive the hot Texas summer. Timers have been installed for 6 weeks...work as expected so far.

Set hub up 70 ft away, inside a bathroom...no problem working hose through walls.

Rachio is a great way to control irrigation, precision feed water to plants and lawns and in the process save water. Great is the integration with Tempest. Way to go.

Hose timer and app seems fine, no problems. Installed two AA batteries and was good to go. Putting timer into a box for shade and protection since we live in High Desert just in case.

Good idea, implementation need work

When it works I like it. But the hub struggles to stay connected to the WLAN. Working with support to see if this is just one bad hub or if all of them have this problem. Or if unable to resolve with support, then it will end up in the trash.

Really love the functions and the appearance. I don't know about durability at this time ad I've only used them one month or so. Easy to program by the app. I also enabled it to the alexa skills but voice commands don't seem to be supported as in the main Rachio sprinkler is capable of this function. So this is a big let down. Otherwise happy purchase.
