This is one of those rare products that works as advertised, coming straight out of the box, with no fuss, no drama, and no hiccups. I got this to water a narrow grassy strip at my vacation home that sits in a rain shadow between the house and a retaining wall, and so far it works great. It's slightly larger than I envisioned and I'm a little concerned about the long-term durability of the plastic housing, but it had leak-tight connections, the valve opened and closed reliably, and the app installed and operated without problems. I was a bit annoyed that the product came without the required AA batteries, and the tiny screws that secure the battery cover seem a likely future failure point. Neither the timer nor the yard hydrant to which it is attached have any sort of flow control, so it's all or nothing; I can't turn it down to reduce the diameter of my spray pattern. I also thought this was something I'd leave semi-permanently attached to my hose bib (at least for the warmer months), but I'm having second thoughts as to the wisdom of that, or of leaving the plumbed valve turned on when I'm away.

Drip Delight

This drip control device is perfect for my plants around the house foundation. It comes on everyday at 7:30 and runs for an hour unless there is rain in the forecast; plus, I can now control the water amount and the length of the cycle right from my app. Easy Peasy!
