If you have WIFI it’s a No-Brainer to upgrade your irrigation controller.

Even if your old controller isn’t working you will save money because this controller is so smart it can read the weather and adjust your watering schedule. It’s cheaper than my old controller

Great hardware, poor software.

So far I like the hardware. Especially the brass fittings at stress points. However still extremely disappointed in the lack of HomeKit support. Rachio promised this from the onset and has failed on providing modern technology such as Matter, Thread and HomeKit in their newest products and instead have back peddled into ShortCuts. Sure your app is okay but some of us like everything in one spot that gives us status and quick options. Fire your programers and find ones who are keeping up with the times.

I have tried 8 other hose timers. This is the best option that I’ve found. Their service was top notch too. I had a minor issue and they took care of it very quickly. I can’t recommend Rachio enough for the Jose timer.

I currently use 2-12 zone rachio controllers for my lawn and drip gardens. These new smart hose timers work well on their own and its nice to be able to also use them with my current rachio tools.

I bought this as a replacement for another brand. I got tired of wifi drops. This has been great. I can turn it on from quite far away iny backyard. This is in the front of the yard. Easy to program.

I have most of my yard covered by my Rachio controller, but there is one circuit that I have to run manually, and I sometimes forget, causing great harm to the plantings covered by that circuit. Now with this new smart hose timer I can control that circuit on a schedule and have the peace of mind that everything in my yard is covered.
