I use the Rachio water timer to add water to the basin of my water fountain; using a 1/4 in copper tubing which I bend over the wall of the basin.

Hose timer hub will not connect

I spent 30 minutes trying to get the base unit to connect and finally gave up. I tried to reach Rachio support, but it was closed. I’m sending it back for a refund.

Better than Eve Aqua

I have had 3 Eve Aqua’s. They worked fine but the connection to the spigot is all plastic. After a year outdoors, each one has cracked making the unit useless. The Rachio smart timer has a plastic cover but metal threads and seems much more durable.

The hose valve was easy to set up and works as expected. I wish the app for the valve had more of the functionality that the irrigation controller has.

The item connects easily. Could not connect to current house but just added a new house and everything went smooth form there.
This addition to my existing Rachio system was perfect. Why standup and turn on the water?
