Don't buy companion Deep Root Watering

Deep Root Watering junior devices will not connect to the same hose the Hose controller can connect to without a special adapter. No warning of this in the advertisement. Useless without it. Very disappointed. Still like Rachio main controller. when I pointed this ouot to Rachio, I was Ignored :(

I bought two of these for my wife's flower beds. My reasoning was as we get older it gets harder to stand out in the heat to water so many plants. I put in soaker hose and use the timers and so far they are working very well. My only issue, and it is my issue, I don't trust to leave my water faucets on all the time. Yes I'm paranoid I guess but I'd hate to worry about even a small drip over hours or days. So in some ways it sort of defeats the purpose if we have to turn the faucets on and off for each watering. For most this won't be a problem and the timers work very well. I would recommend them.

Not quite as expected

Bought this hoping I would see the gallons used on the Rachio app. It isn't there. I have to look at the Everydrop display.
It is good that I can turn it on and off or set a schedule for when and how long.
