Great sprinkler system add-on

I already own a Rachio 2 sprinkler controller which makes scheduling a breeze. The emails telling me “activating rain skip” are convenient instead of the unsightly rain detector hanging on the gutter. All of the conveniences with the main controller work hand in hand with the smart hose timer. Using less water and saving money is always nice.
I planted a large area with grass seed and used the smart timer in a zone where I do not have existing sprinklers. The grass looks amazing thanks to the ease of installation and scheduling. I will use one of these timers to run a drip system in the garden. Highly recommend!

Life has just gotten easier. This is all of all gadgets, love it, thank you Rachio! I like how you can pair as much as 4 hose timers to one hub, and I have 2 hubs. Definitely will be buying 2 more.

I have 2 Rachio system which have worked excellently for years, were easy to setup and enjoy. These completely changed my watering ... so much so that I highly recommended Rachio to others, including our City.
This latest piece of equipment cannot be installed!

Disappointing

I am a big Rachio fan, so I was thrilled when they announced this product. I pre-ordered it for way too much, and have been completely underwhelmed with its performance. The latest firmware update has helped some, except for it bricking my first device. I bought a second for uniformity, but the first one has stopped working after two months, and I’ve had to resort to the second, which was intended for a different spot. I suggest you guys drop your price to the B-Hyve or lower, since your device actually has less features. I used the B-Hyve tap timers all last year and really liked them, but I wanted to support Rachio, and I’m disappointed that I did.

Leaks

Worked well for 2 weeks and then developed a leak thank goodness we were home water was gushing out of the bottom. This was not a connection leak the unit was leaking. Very disappointed stay away waste of money

Does what you want - elegantly

Installed two valves and one hub. Replaced two mechanical drip-watering timers. Easy install, work like a charm. I really appreciate that they skip programmed cycles when it has rained, and the ability to modify cycles via the app as weather condition demand.

Great addition

We use it for spot watering on our lawn. Takes care of the dry spot as it waters on a program just like our other sprinklers.
