It has good cutting ability, and is light and easy to manoeuvre. We have a steep slope garden and grass and it is much easier to use than our larger heavier and corded trimmer.

No Battery Life

Fully charged the battery overnight. It then worked for only 20 minutes. It's going right back. I will not buy B&D again.

Battery Sucks

Love the actual machine itself . But the battery life sucks. It is nearly impossible to finish a small yard with this . The battery goes out in 15 min or less. If I hadn’t had another battery from a different black&Decker product I would have never gotten the job done.

The information we found on it said it came with a battery and charger, but when we opened it an hour ago, there was neither one. We did get a free battery, but no charger, so it's pretty useless. Being desperate, and quarantined, my trimming has not been happening, and the weeds have grown next to our house and fencing, I went out to use it, thinking there would be a charge in the battery, but alas, there was 5 minutes, and that was it. Since I DID NOT get the charger with the battery, I have had to borrow one from my daughter until such time as a charger can be found, which may not happen since things get delivered so much slower now. This has turned out to be a complicated purchase. Had I not liked my old B&D trimmer, and ADORE my 40 volt mower, I would have purchased some other product.

Worst trimmer I have ever had

This is my second B&D trimmer. The first one lasted a long time but eventually I had feed issues with the spooler so I bought a battery operated one. It lasted maybe through the spool provided until I had the same issues as others where the autofeed doesn't work. I always have to pull the string out manually. Now the button to press to get it started won't work. I have other B&D tools so I know the battery is fine. Don't buy this. Look at other products.
