Great for what it is

This is a great, light weight trimmer and does exactly what it is meant to do. I've read lots of 1 star reviews complaining about the battery lasting only 15-20 Minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that it lasted that long! Just think of running any of your power tools for 15 to 20 minutes straight...you couldn't. This 20V lithium battery has as much power as my old B@D, last a little longer and it is lighter. This trimmer is perfect for the person who mows their lawn once a week and then trims it. If you are a person who doesn't trim but a couple of times a year and the grass is getting pretty gnarly then this is not for you, you need a gas powered hog. Know what you are buying, set your expectation to a reasonable level and you will be very happy with this trimmer.

This bad boy can do some damage!!! I wasn’t expecting the power this sucker puts out! Now, this model isn’t for heavy duty jobs, but for a small yard that always needs trimming...its right on the money. I haven’t even changed out the spool of string yet!! I love this thing!!!

Perfect for the suburbs

I love the battery feature; plenty of power for trimming around the backyard fence. I was surprised how well it edges along the sidewalk and driveway as well. The 0.065" line breaks often along the drive, but gets the job done. For the cost, worth every penny.

Best Trimmer

Have used this trimmer all year now on a .35 acre yard. 2 batteries does one 40 foot fence, around the entire house, one side of the garage, around the garden shed, 20 foot side walk, four trees and 20x10 porch. A 3rd battery will take care of a 100sq ft patch of grass I dont like to mow. I load one battery, put another in my pocket and off I go. I dont have to worry about gas or even finagling a cord around, just lock n load and trim. I have only one reason why this isnt 5 starts, while I have yet to change sting spools, every now and then I have to pull the spool and unwrap a bit of string that gets stuck.

Figured out how to get auto-feed to work

After working on this for a few hours I finally discovered how to get mine to feed. The trick was to first pull the trigger all the way and get the head spinning freely full-speed then quickly put it in heavy grass or weeds so that it slows down considerably and then just as quickly pull it away so it speeds back up. Keep the trigger pulled all the way the entire time.

Bad auto feed

The auto feed function does not work well at all, I always have to open the spool and pull string out by hand. The older style of "bump feed" works much better!

I bought this item yesterday and used it today and I loved it. I have an average size yard and it is perfect for what I need. Not designed for heavy cutting but for the average home owner it is more than enough. Very lightweight, easy to use. Love the fact no mixing gas and oil or having cords stretched across the yard. Just grab it and go. Highly recommend this product for anyone who has just an average size yard

Light weight, perfect for women

This is perfect for a small yard. It's so light. Yes I said perfect for women but I also have hip issues and can't hold something heavy. It was a great price I bought it last season and still works great. Bought the cordless leaf blower this year hope that works just as well
