Perfect tool for everyone and everywhere.

I needed a small electric screwdriver to install some wire shelving in my closet and this was perfect for the job. A few days later I used it to remove some trim in my truck to run wiring. I took it on a service call to work on a vending machine and it made my job simple and fast. The light was great for the areas that were hard to see in. The three position handle allowed me to get into areas easily. It is light and easy to hold and has the power to do the job. For home, work and automotive this is one tool that can do it all.

Have had previous versions of B&D's cordless screwdrivers. This is a good update to previous models as it uses a Lithium Ion battery which helps with the additional torque as well as battery life versus the older models which used NiCd/NiMH.
The LED light is a good addon especially when working in dark spaces.

Best screw driver around

I’m so glad I purchased this screw driver to have around. It makes little jobs so much easier and faster. Within a farm at our home, there is always something that needs to be done or task at hand. This screw driver is light weight, easy to use and store. Works well and even my 10 year old can use it. Two thumbs up!

Satisfied but I wish there was a place to store/secure the screwdriver bits when not in use. My old B&D screwdriver (15+ years old) had a place to store the bits when not in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool a long time ago, maybe 6 months or more. I needed something a little more compact than a large cordless drill to get into tight spaces. This has been a time and hassle saver! Not only does it fit perfectly into those tight spaces but it also has a flashlight on it to see exactly where to place and remove the screws. It is flexible and goes from a 45 degree angle to straight out. This not only helps at home, remodeling, and DIY projects, but my husband also takes it to work with him to work on HVAC units. It definitely helps keep your arms from getting tired of holding a regular electric drill. It is super lightweight in your hand, but also works on heavy duty projects without stripping the screws. This has been a great addition for my home projects! It has become my go to for all of the reasons I listed above and more!!! Black and Decker really hit a home run with this drill.

I bought this little guy with intents of only using it for lightweight usage. For that, it works well, only don't expect this to drive a two-inch screw into a thick board without a pilot hole first drilled. It stalled. So, I have learned its abilities, but don't regret the purchase. Oh, and the light has become very helpful in dim lighting situations and just when a light is needed in tight places.
