I purchased this Black + Decker 4V MAX* Lithium Ion LightDriver Cordless Screwdriver because it filled all my needs in one product. It's cordless, light weight and incredibly useful. Moving into a home, I wanted to make hanging and DIY projects easy and quick. So happy that it's adjustable and has a light. Great for jobs inside dark and hard to reach areas. Simple to operate. Very good investment... I'm using it even more then I thought I would!

I bought this tool at my local Walmart because of the design, feel, and power because I love Black and Decker and the power tools they make. I needed this to put up shelves, put together a futon, and replace cabinet hardware, etc.This is best tool ever I recommend this it would make a nice housewarming gift.

Very light and with excellent size, perfect for doing work at home. It has a light that is perfect for lighting in places with poor visibility. Long performance battery It has 3 positions that make very good handling of it. In short, perfect! Includes: screwdriver, charger cable and 2 accessories

Perfect for all your position needs . Comes also with a flashlight you can you with your iobs ,just press the button and it comes on instantly. Compact for easy use, handling and storage . I found it very easy to use , and it was fast too . The grip is perfect for my small hands . It's comfortable ,it like so many I have used that we're to big or dig into my hand .The set includes the cordless scewdriver of course , screwdriver bits , 1 charger . It's really handy ,. compact for convenient and ready to go where ever you need it to work .

So Easy To Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this cordless screwdriver a couple of days ago and already had plans for using it right away. I decided to enclose my mom's porch in with vinyl siding to make it look better. It was so easy putting the screws in with my cordless screwdriver versus having to do it manually. (which I tried originally and gave up on the first screw) . I got the job done quickly and easily and if I say so myself, it looks good ! I definetely will get alot of use out of this around the house.

Very Handy

I truly love this handy device. It's lightweight, powerful enough to get the job done, and rechargeable. Battery life is pretty darn good! My only con is I wish there was a storage clip or compartment for the included bits. This way, I won't be searching in my tool bag for them. I came up with my own creation to keep the bits nearby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The forward/reverse switch is easy to operate with your thumb. The lockout is a nice feature to prevent accidental battery drainage. The trigger is easy to operate as well, a variable speed would be nice, but at the price, I believe that might be asking too much.
Flashlight is great, it provides adequate light without being so overpowering that it washes out what you are trying to see.
A bit holder molded into the grip or body would also be nice, as the unit comes with two bits, but only one can be used while the other is loose. Another possible solution would be a single bit included with the unit that has phillips on one end and flat on the other, then you can just rotate as needed and there is nothing to lose.
The initial charge time was long, the manual states 10 hours. It would be nice if this could be shortened a bit, but again I understand why it is so long. You don't want to charge lithium ion batteries too fast without a method to keep them cool, overheating them will shorten their life span, so slow charging is the safe/economical way of safely/reliably charging the batteries. I don't think there is any way to accomplish this with the current design without raising costs. Maybe a removable battery would work, make it compatible across your entire 4V MAX Lithium line, then offer a fast charging base station with a cooling fan for those who are interested?
This little guy is compact, easily fits into tight spaces where you couldn't or wouldn't want to attempt using an impact driver, and it has enough power to run some screws but without fear of violently over torquing them accidentally.
