Excellent Small Form Factor Laser Cutting Machine

I really enjoy using my Cricut Joy Extra. I bought it in lavender and it is compact and fits on any table or work area. A good portion of my materials are in 8.5” x 11” or similar dimensions and work perfectly with this machine. I also own a Maker 3, Explore 4 and Joy machines. I am about to test the Cricut joy foil transfer kit with this machine on Faux Leather and Cardstock and I believe it will handle quite well. If you are looking to cut faux leather this machine handles it just as well as my Maker 3 and Explore 4 machines. The cuts seem precise and sometimes I use this with my iPad Pro and other times my MAC or Windows laptops. I am an IT professional and put my machines to the test and so far this machine handles whatever I’ve tested on it.

I also have a cricut air so somme of the functionalities are a little different but it works well and does what I bought it for

I bought my cricuit xtra about a month ago. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I don’t understand how to work it. It didn’t come with a manual, only a set-up sheet. I went online and just became more confused. I just wanted to make paper flowers and I wish I wouldn’t have spent the money!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love how it takes 81/2 by 12 in paper no more cutting for the sm joy still use am joy for sm projects flowers love it

I like the size of the joy extra. It is small enough to be portable but big enough to made a nice size project. I have not used the print then cut feature of the machine yet. Over all, I like this machine better than the original joy due to the bigger size of the joy extra and the print then cut feature.
