Really like my Joy Xtra! Just getting started and its perfect for learning on and making most of the stuff I want to do. I would like to upgrade to the Maker 4 down the road but for now this is perfect.

I haven’t had a chance to use this as much as I want. Lots going on in my home on top of two — yes 2 — serious arm injuries.
I hope I understand how it measures the piece of paper or vinyl I’m using. I havnt figured that out yet.

I have had my machine for a year and I still love it. It is my main go to machine. Only use my maker 3 for larger projects anymore.

Fun machine but can be frustrating!

I had been thinking about buying a Cricut for a year and finally decided on the Joy Xtra when it was on sale for black Friday. Because of the holidays I have not had as much time as I would like to experiment with it. I found the set up very easy but when I wanted to play with some projects I kept getting errors saying what I picked to do was not compatible with my machine. It has been very frustrating and I wish there was a chat line that you could ask question to. I have watched some of the videos on YouTube but I have not found one that helps with the design program. I am sure that once I have more time I will figure it out.
